Free medicines for poor patients

• Roughly Rs 10,000/ year for one patient.
• About 500 patients are in need of financial support for medicines.
• Total funds required for this service per year is Rs. 50 lakhs

Hospitalization and Treatment

• The approximate cost of admission in one of our three centers for one patient per month is Rs.15, 000. This includes treatment, nursing, food, and shelter.
• To support one year of hospitalized treatment for a patient is Rs.1,80,000
• For 25 such beds, Total funds required is Rs. 45 lakhs

ECT treatment for poor patients (ECT also called shock treatment is an effective form of treatment in some cases)

• The approximate cost of ECT per sitting per patient is Rs.4,000
• To support one course of ECT (approximately 8 sittings per patient) is Rs.32,000
• About 15 patients per year are in need of financial support for ECT
• Total funds required for this service per year is Rs. 4.80 lakhs

Lab investigations for poor patients

Creation of a pool of funds for patients below the poverty line for lab investigations to screen for diabetes, cardiac problems, lipid profile, etc

• The approximate cost of investigations per patient is Rs.1,500
• About 800 patients are in need of financial support for this service
• Total funds required for this service per year is Rs. 12 lakhs

Post Graduate training in Psychiatry

• DNB in Psychiatry (equivalent to MD ) to increase the availability of trained psychiatrists to serve the mental health needs of the nation.
• Sum required per year is Rs15 lakhs

Conducting awareness programs

• Development & printing of manuals, videos, slides, posters, pamphlets, scripts for skits & street plays, audio & video advisement spots, etc
• The sum required is Rs.20 lakhs
